Summer 2027 Training Program
The WMLAX Summer Program is designed to help players continue developing their skills while maintaining the flexibility families need during the summer months.
Our philosophy is simple:
consistent, purposeful training—not constant training.
Players receive quality instruction from experienced coaches while still having plenty of time for family vacations, other sports, and enjoying their summer.

- Dodging and shooting
- Passing and catching
- Ground balls
- Footwork and agility
- Position-specific instruction
- Small-sided competition
- Game awareness and lacrosse IQ
Summer Practice Schedule
We anticipate continuing our summer training program at the Rahn Practice Fields at Northview High School.
Practice Nights
Tuesdays and Thursdays
Youth Boys & Girls 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM

The summer season is expected to run from mid-June through late July, providing approximately 10 structured training sessions in addition to tournament opportunities.
Travel Team Option
Players looking for a competitive summer experience can participate on one of our travel teams and compete in the tournaments listed above.
Travel teams provide:
- Team practices
- Tournament coaching
- Tournament participation
- Position-specific development
- Exposure to higher levels of competition
Clinic-Only Option – $300
Not interested in travel lacrosse? No problem.
Families who prefer skill development without tournaments can register for our
Summer Clinic Program for $300.
The Clinic Program includes:
- All summer training sessions
- Position-specific coaching
- Skill development curriculum
- Flexible attendance
- A new WMLAX pinnie
This option is perfect for multi-sport athletes, new players, or families looking for high-quality summer training without the travel commitment.
