Summer 2027 Training Program

The WMLAX Summer Program is designed to help players continue developing their skills while maintaining the flexibility families need during the summer months.

Our philosophy is simple:

consistent, purposeful training—not constant training.

Players receive quality instruction from experienced coaches while still having plenty of time for family vacations, other sports, and enjoying their summer.

Who Can Participate?

  • Boys and Girls
  • All skill levels
  • New and returning players welcome
  • No tryouts required

Summer Training Focus

  • Stick skills
  • Dodging and shooting
  • Passing and catching
  • Ground balls
  • Footwork and agility
  • Position-specific instruction
  • Small-sided competition
  • Game awareness and lacrosse IQ

Travel Team Option

Players looking for a competitive summer experience can participate on one of our travel teams and compete in the tournaments listed above.

Travel teams provide:

  • Team practices
  • Tournament coaching
  • Tournament participation
  • Position-specific development
  • Exposure to higher levels of competition

Clinic-Only Option – $300

Not interested in travel lacrosse? No problem.

Families who prefer skill development without tournaments can register for our

Summer Clinic Program for $300.

The Clinic Program includes:

  • All summer training sessions
  • Position-specific coaching
  • Skill development curriculum
  • Flexible attendance
  • A new WMLAX pinnie

This option is perfect for multi-sport athletes, new players, or families looking for high-quality summer training without the travel commitment.

  • At WMLAX, our goal is to provide opportunities for every player—whether they are looking for a competitive travel experience or simply want to improve their game, stay active, and have fun throughout the summer.
